    It should be called Failrail. It stops at traffic lights. Does nothing to curb congestion. And attracts the inner city rif raf into the suburbs. Valley Failrail is a joke!

    I hope light rail continues to be expanded. Phoenix and other major cities need to think about the future and less reliance on fossil fuels. Gas is cheap now, but we know in the future oil will become more expensive. Cost effective mass transportation will be needed.

    More concerned about the potential increase in homelessness due to jacked up prices on rent/living expenses… The expansion will just move people away onto the streets.. Has anyone noticed how high rent has gone in low income areas when the lightrail was completed?

    If you are a fan of mass transit or democracy in general you should be relived this didn't go through. This was nothing but a attempt for the Koch bros to keep their stronghold. Thank God David is gone let's hope Charles drops sooner rather then later.
