Train Blues in G

August 14, 2019

I would sell my soul/ just to work on those
railroad tracks/ i wouldn’t think twice/ no/ i wouldn’t look back/ so let me play on those
rails/ all night and day/ i’ll be just fine/ workin’ alone, by an by, down that railroad
line. So while i’m alive/ you can find me/ playing
on those railroad ties/ on two railroad ties, ya’ll
Just shovelin’ coal/ and puffin’ smoke/ up and down that golden coast/ long ago, i threw
out, my old dusty throat, oh i stretched it along the road, well, i tell ya, it started
right out of my window/ and then i followed which way the wind blows.
So while i’m alive/ you can find me/ playing on those railroad tracks/ im playin on those
railroads/ two railroad ties. So when i die/ you can bury me/ between two
railroad ties.
