Traveling Iran Tehran City Middle East Azadi Square Road View 2019

    November 27, 2019

I am traveling in Iran in this video, Tehran City road view at Azadi Square. Tehran is the capital of Iran. its population is over 9 million. Tehran is also the biggest city in Iran, and it is the cultural, economic and political center of Iran. Its major language is Persian. It is rated as one of the world’s polluted cities. Freedom Tower was built in 1971. Iran is a very safe place and very cheap to travel and live.

WORLD’S FASTEST ZIP LINE! | Wales, United Kingdom 😱

    November 24, 2019

You’re watching Vagabrothers. We’re in Wales, and this is the world’s fastest zipline. 3-2-1 Good morning Vagabuddies. Welcome back to Vagabrothers. It’s day three of our exploration in Wales, and today we’re surrounded by snow-capped mountains and waterfalls in Snowdonia National Park. Mount Snowdon is right behind us. It’s the biggest mountain in Wales, second biggest in the UK, and this whole area used to be historically slate mining, but it’s recently been rebranded as adventure capital of Wales. So we’re going to find out why in this episode. Stay tuned. The way this thing works is that we are in an old slate mine, and Wales was one of the regions in the UK that produced a lot of slate, a lot of coal; there’s a lot of mining in the mountains here, and this is an old slate mine. I’m having DejaVu. This reminds me a lot of our trip last year to Northern England in the Lakes District because we were at Honister Slate Mine, which I think is the last working mine in the U.K. Obviously when mining….. the mining industry kind of declined here in the U.K. , it caused a lot of unemployment and a lot of different shifts in the economy. So this is an interesting way to see how they’re turning something that once was heavy industry into tourism. We were just sitting here looking at the setup and watching these people go down on this little small zipline here. There’s no way that could be like the world’s fastest zipline. You can’t get going fast enough. You totally thought it was, and then we realized that you just take the zipline, the first one like a warm-up zipline down, and then you hop in a truck from there and you drive all the way up this mountain to up there. We have to put on these little jackets like flak jackets, and then we’re going to put on a harness because we’re going to be hanging head first when we go down. This is going to be insane. Number one down. Warmup done. Just arriving now to the top. It’s called the big zipper. The big zipper, man. Soft landing, you know, if you fall off into the water. Oh my god, dude. I don’t even know if I enjoyed these things Why do I do it? You ready, Mark? Let’s do it. 3-2-1. That was crazy fast. We’ve hopped back into the car, and now we’re driving off to another zip world adventure, but honestly that zipline was amazing. I think that’s the closest you can get to wingsuiting without jumping out of an airplane or off a cliff or whatever. For all the anticipation, it was less scary than it seemed because once you got past the ground below, you kind of lost perspective how fast you’re going opened up over the water and you’re able just to enjoy it. Next we’re going to go to Bounce Below ,which is a really interesting amusement park that is built into the underground caverns of a former slate mine. The scenery in this valley is incredible. We’re driving up this huge kind of u-shaped glacial valley. The tips of the peaks are covered in snow . They’re waterfalls cascading down into the bottom of the valley, and we’re on this twisty, turny road that just hugs the cliffside all the way up and over into the next valley. We have zipped over to a different slate mine, and this one’s got a thing called Bounce Below, which I think is like a bunch of trampolines in this underground cavern that used to be a slate mine. This should be fun. In certain respects, this is kind of similar to what miners would have had to do. They’d put on a hardhat; they’d eat a sausage roll; they would walk or take the train down into the cavern and start mining. Mining was extremely dangerous. They would go 500 meters down underground and then once you started working, which usually started in your early teens, you’d work your whole life. It was extremely dangerous. If they didn’t die from explosions or gases, oftentimes a runaway cart could end your life in a second. Now, if you get triple bounced, you could end your life in a second. What’s the best thing about bouncing down here? It’s in a cave, so it’s amazing and it’s different, and it’s unique. This is what it must be like to be a kangaroo. I’m tired. This is exhausting All right guys. We have journeyed down into this little gully, and we’re in this beautiful forest, and we’ve met up with Richard who’s going to take us foraging. Hi guys. What’s going on Richard? Where are we? We’re on the edge of Clocaenog Forest. We’re just outside the market town of Ruthin. So you’re from Cornwall originally. Why come here, and why get into foraging? There aren’t any mountains in Cornwall, for a starter, but the foraging thing started down there with my family, and it’s something that’s always been part of my life, but I… Wales is such a fantastic climate for foraging. Can you tells us about how foraging has evolved in terms of restaurants and the culinary scene in general? It was the first foraging revolution back in the ’70s when people really started to pick up on the idea of living off the land. I don’t know. It’s like there’s the post hippie movement that started that, and it really kick-started this desire to go out and find wild things to eat and have a greater connection with with our food. We work with people to take them out show them how to gather wild food safely, legally, ethically. Just walked down this path for about a quarter of a mile, and we’ve already found something to add to the list. What do we have here, Richard? We’ve got some wild garlic down there. Really common at this time of year; really easy to find; perfectly safe to eat, but there’s a lot you can do with it. Does it bear any resemblance to our non wild garlic? It’s Allium Ursinum, is its Latin name. It looks more like spring onion with longer leaves, but the scent really intense. That is incredible though. It smells exactly like garlic. It is garlic. It’s wild garlic….. mmm. With this you could just chop it and chuck it on top of a pizza or something ,and you’d get the same flavor as garlic. Or a soup….it works actually quite well with stinging nettle in a soup. Stinging nettle? Yeah, you can make that as well Really? Yeah. We found the next little batch What’s this one? This one is opposite leaves, golden saxifrage. That’s quite a tongue twister. This is like a… like a salad plant, so it’s strange but it tastes a little bit hairy. There’s a weird texture going on with it. Yeah, as it goes down your throat, feels like you just ate a mothball, but it tastes good, cucumber peppermint.. Richard here has a pan and some olive oil, so we’re just going to pan fry these mushrooms, a little bit of wild garlic, have ourselves a nice little Welsh natural feast. Welcome to Chef’s Table, Season 4. Looks good. Hmmm. That’s good, but you can just tell that you got good ingredients, don’t need too much to make it taste delicious. Thanks for watching. That was a super fun day. If you enjoyed this video, make sure you give it a thumbs- up, share with your friends, and subscribe to Vagabrothers and don’t forget to turn on notifications so you get an update every time we publish a cool travel video. Make sure you stay tuned for the rest of the Wales series. We’ve got a lot more adventures coming at you. In the meantime stay curious, keep exploring, and we will see you Vagabuddies on the road. Peace.

London-Birmingham: First time riding a train in the UK

    October 18, 2019

Today we’re catching a train from London to Birmingham. We’re here at Euston Station We already bought the tickets online we just need to pick them up at the machines So, do you see here? You need to insert the same credit card used to buy the ticket online Then you type your collection reference number How come it says one? I don’t know. Oh, they are printing Yeah! We got a little confused here because we bought the tickets with Chiltern and we picked them up with Virgin So now we don’t know who we’re riding with Virgin seems to be the main operator here. They even have a First Class lounge Do you see what it’s saying for us? “Please travel in the front train only” Yeah That’s Gordon right there, waiting to see when our platform is assigned And I’m walking around to see what’s here We will be calling at Watford Junction, Bletchley, Milton Keynes Central, Northampton Long Buckby, Rugby Coventry, Hanley, Tile Hill, Erkswell Birmingham International Maston Green, LeeHall, Stetchford and Birmingham New Street It turns out we’re with a third company, London NorthWestern If there are British watching this they’re probably laughing so much Sorry guys! First time riding a train in England It’s Wembley! That’s where England plays football! Do you know? The national team! It’s the largest stadium in the U.K. The earlier you buy the tickets normally the better. We got a great discount buying one week in advance Also, you need to look for offers. You can get discounts with railcards Here, they even mention it in the back of the ticket We bought the Two Together railcard and this gives fantastic discounts when two people are traveling together the whole time This card costs 30 pounds, and we got the digital version So you’ve got to calculate and see if it’s worth it for you depending on the amount of travel you’re doing For us, as we’ll travel a lot in the next few weeks, we’re probably saving around a hundred pounds if not more Northampton! We’re halfway there Once I took a marketing course online from the University of Northampton Mind the gap Virgin is really the main operator between London and Birmingham Trains every 20 minutes arriving in an hour and twenty minutes Also, they are more expensive This is why we bought with Chiltern. We’re paying less than 8 pounds for both of us, which is crazy Ah! We are in Rugby! Guess what was invented here? Rugby, of course! There’s a sign here saying that Rugby is home of the World Rugby Hall of Fame. Nice! By the way, England hosted the 2015 Rugby World Cup. In 2019, it’s in Japan. Hopefully I’ll work at the event A stop at the Birmingham Airport. So if you’re flying to the city, you can also get this train to downtown We are approaching Birmingham New Street, where the service will terminate Birmingham New Street will be our final point Please ensure you have your ticket ready for the barriers as we are approaching this station. Thank you. The Train took a little bit more than two hours There were more than 10 stops, but everything was fine. Very nice. There was Wi-Fi. I’m happy! Oh, you need to get it So keep these tickets now because we need them for the next attraction that we’re going There’s a discount we can use. Two-for-one We arrived at New Station, which is centrally located in Birmingham. And it’s very nice I think it was recently refurbished and we got a hotel within walking distance which makes it even more convenient First thing I learned about Birmingham the pronunciation here is different compared to the American Birmingham Here the G is hard. It’s Birmingham, Birmingham Yeah “BirminGham” compared to “BirmingHam” in the United States Both cities have similar origins due to the importance of iron and steel But then a series of events took both cities in very different directions You can check out my series on Birmingham, Alabama to see it for yourself Now we’re going to explore U.K. Birmingham. I’ll save that for the next video And in the next few days, we’re also going to check out two very interesting cities nearby Stratford-Upon-Avon, where Shakespeare was born And also Warwick famous for the Warwick Castle One of the best kept castles in England Should be very fun! Subscribe to my channel so that you don’t miss what’s next

STOCKHOLM METRO 🚇 AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION | Travel Guide

    October 3, 2019

so if you’re coming to Stockholm and
you’re wondering about transportation there’s a ton of different
transportation options. So you got the buses you got the light rail, you got the
underground rail you got bikes that you can use all of which can be accessed
through your SL card. So before you do any transportation here in Stockholm in
terms of public transportation get your SL card. You can purchase your SL card here at the Central Station any of the other stations you can also
purchase it at any SL retailer which would include most of the 7-elevens some
of the grocery stores take a look at the website you can see everywhere that
they’re sold with the map fantastic so first things first let’s go get our SL
cards so Pressbyrån here is like a 7-eleven
for Sweden and they actually sell SL cards at every single one of them, so
we’re gonna get ours here inside Central Station. Okay, so we’re set to go we got
our SL cards let’s go hit the subway so not only is the Stockholm subway
probably the number one way to get around the city it’s also probably one
of the most beautiful places in the city a lot of people don’t know this it’s the
longest art gallery in the world. Check this Out! We’re about to go to my favorite station that I’ve seen and she’s even got the gear for it.
Are you ready babeAwesome, this one is so cool so it looks like right down on museum
Island you can come and rent some bikes it looks like you can rent some canoes
some paddle boards let’s see if we can get some more information.
Hey there my man, how’s it going? Good. So can we rent the bikes here. Yes.
Okay how much are the rentals? The paddle boats here it’s 200 crowns per
hour? Yes. Ok. Kayaks 125 per person per hour And the canoes
150 per hour. 150 per hour per boat? how about the bikes? 80 crowns per hour or
275 for 24 hours. Okay so 275 for 24 hours… so you could come down and spend I guess it’s
about 25 bucks and get a bike and ride around all day huh? Yes. Awesome well thanks a lot man what’s the name of your guy’s place here?
“Sjocaffet”. what is it? “Sjocaffet” enough close enough thank you thank you but there you have it any mode of
transportation that you want right at the beginning of museum Island right
babe And my favorite transportation. You know. Oh yeah, of course free so what are the locals favorite ways to get around the city is by bike and it’s really convenient around Stockholm they have city bikes first of all so there’s over a hundred
and forty different locations like these where you
you can actually use your SL card and grab one of these bikes and ride it
around for however long you have on your SL card. so super convenient there’s
actually a really great app that will show you each of the different locations
and exactly how many bikes are left how many empty slots are left for when you
need to return them so this is a really good option if you want to ride around
the city. now come look over here you have an alternative option they’re not
actually stations like this but they’re O-bikes for bicycle sharing so what
you can do is actually download the O-bike map and and use the map to find out
where these bikes are and use the app to actually unlock them so it will unlock
this device right here and then you’re ready to go easy as that
so if you’re gonna fly into Stockholm it’s actually one of the public
transportation systems where you can’t use the SL card. you actually have to use
the Arlanda Express but they do have ticket stations right on site where you
can buy them they have all sorts of information over here that I’ll let you
check out and follow me see all the status of the flights
so they have some great information here the the train runs just about every 15
minutes really simple Direct Express right to
    the airport

Disneyland Hotel Room Tour & Review!

    September 10, 2019

Enjoying our first morning here and Disney
Hotel is actually awesome. I could totally eat some of this right now. So here I am like a total goof with my giant
hat how do you like it everyone? And we’re here in Disneyland, the Disneyland
Resort. Julia’s doing all the hard work over my shoulder,
wait wait, I don’t even know what my wife looks like. She’s the cutie in the red, there that’s her. We made it we made it. We’re here. A dream is a wish your heart makes when you’re
fast asleep. Look at this. And look! There are Mickeys on the carpet. Ben doesn’t see it he’s looking really hard. Oh there they are! And look there’s the castle there’s Walt. Some of you geeks would know that the castle
was actually installed backwards, the top part yep. The top part of it was. And it was going to cost way too much to flip
it so they just went with it. Betcha didn’t know that. Okay I want to see what else is here. Ta dah! Ooo it’s actually quite fancy. Look at that! Look at the Mickey hands holding up the light. Cute. Kinda cute and creepy at the same time. Yeah, I was gunna say. I like that the pooper is in a separate room. They have a shame den. Yes. and there’s the shower. Little Mickey handle. And then the nice little closet. Ooh fancy. And a big in wall safe, that looks secure. That looks very secure. First though I just want to take a look outside. K guys, it’s been a long day. We flew from Maui to Disneyland and we are
waking up in 5 hours. so Yay! It’s 11:11 Ben. 11:11! 11:11. Caught on film. Angel numbers. A great bed is like key for any good hotel
and this is a great bed. Slept very well for 4 and a half hours so
can’t complain. But it’s actually one of the nicest hotels
we’ve stayed in in a long time. Like if you were to take out all of the disney
stuff, you’re just staying in a really nice hotel with really nice people. so and breakfast showed up on time actually
just a little early by two minutes. Marmalade? Who the heck still eats marmalade? My grandma. Look at how excited we are. We just arrived. we’re in Disneyland. Welcome to the pool at Disneyland resort. the cool pool the pool for the cool. Whoa! Oh no he did it again! Okay, Ben just finished his ride Ben turn
around. Oh! Savage! Just take a look. Not only is there this but there is also this. Ah there is so much going on right now. Yeah, real trooper! They’ve done a very wonderful job setting
up the beds, my hat, and they’ve put Julia’s ears over here like we’re a weird couple from
the sixties that sleep in different beds. But that’s okay. But we had room service, and that was two
days ago. They set this up very nicely, they put our
gross bag of cookies from Hawaii in that little basket which I don’t know what’s going on,
they left our empty coffee carafe and they left the two day old cream that is still right
    there.
