Abandoned Railroad Crossing CSX FEC Connector Track?

    September 2, 2019

Hello ladies and gentlemen, here is an abandoned railroad crossing. This is emergency contact it says SXH which is The CSX S line Homestead Extension Mile Post 66.5 so this track Might or might not have connected to to the FEC Oversea Railway which is just a few blocks East of here. See? There was a switch right there. The railroad. And just over there where those palm trees are is US 1 The FEC Oversea Railway ran parallel to US 1 Some people say this track connected Some people say it didn’t. I have a railroad atlas That says it did, but That’s not here nor there right now. So anyway this is looking West. And this used to be part of the former SAL line. That was built in the 1920’s. I’m going to take you on a tour down this line. Ok guys so there it is There’s the railroad. And we’re going to see 3 or 4 more crossings See there are the rails. We just came from 2nd Ave. There’s a cross buck, cross buck rails right there. Another cross buck. This here is SW 4th Ave. And again we see another crossing over here. So I can see these rails haven’t been used in a LONG time. 5th Ave coming up here. And that’s where it came from. That would be, there’s a wye there. Which I have a video on. I’ll include a link to. And This is facing West. Like I said, this is the old SAL line. Make a quick U turn over here. And now we’re facing East again. Alright ladies and gentlemen, I thank you very much for viewing. Please subscribe, like, or share. Take care. Over and out. Bye. Bye.

sticker and then the lights are yeah WC hayes, you see those visors were cut off
well they were cut off because of the gate the gate would interfere with them today

over there my favorite visors and this is the spur
itself it’s facing east towards Miami, see some
voodoo right there I’m gonna try to cross over here what you hear there is the metro rail this is facing west and this side we

E bell in the background and the Rico lights on the crossing gate Also MI lights, see the metrorail all righty guys so yeah give you a track view again here track view west there’s the switch thank you for viewing, please subscribe or like. take care over and out

Hialeah here we have the crossing equipment, so this is an original seaboard line facing west as I
said and then here you have a safe tran signal base something so yeah I saw a
safe tran signal base safe tran gate mechanism emergency contact info four safe tran lights all around, those are
Rico gate lights E bell up top cross buck and then here we have the grade crossing
you can see the what kind of good condition it’s in it’s wood it’s probably an original seaboard they

other one you see that light took a pounding right there safe Tran signal base safe signal

    Railroad Crossing CSX Industry Spur

    August 27, 2019

Okay ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to show you guys a spur over here and railroad crossing it looks like its a very lightly used RR crossing it might be unused lets see when i get there based on what the rails look like ok so thats i95, this is the Fort Lauderdale Tri Rail station and then here you see the spur and then here you see the switch the stop dismount sign this is facing South and then yeah these rails look really polished at least this one definitely sees activity yeah that sees activity the other one, I don’t think it sees much activity you could see it has a lot of growth on it yeah I don’t want to go, that’s trespassing so stay right here and then I see this one I don’t know if that was a train that that leaked motor oil something very thick thick chemical but this one here that goes all the way over there and then this might be a very lightly used line notice there’s no cross bucks on that side just this one alright you guys Please subscribe or like, thank you very much for viewing. Abandoned Railroad Reclaimed by Nature

    August 27, 2019

Hello ladies and gentlemen, RailROL82 here. We’ve got another abandoned railroad crossing as you can
see I still got some more of these from the last time on me okay so I’m going to include a google
maps link to my location down in the description This is where the spur went into this is the last trace of it then that
this goes from here this is facing East now facing
East No cross bucks, nothing I think that rail now I am facing west
and that’s where I began filming originally over there see how the sidewalk was built to accommodate the the railroad this would have been either
I don’t know if CSX was the last one to use it or seaboard incredible huh? so yeah guys I’m gonna include a Google
map link and then I’m going to walk over here so you guys know what where the
last rail goes or the last visible rail anyways so this side too, they built the
sidewalk to accommodate the railroad and zoom in here yeah one little clue though that might help us date this back, as you know as we are railroad archaeologist I noticed that this this
light post was installed October 1977 so if this industrial park was established
around 1977 it’s safe to say that this spur was probably put in around that
time all right guys. Please subscribe or like
thank you very much for viewing over and out.

3 Unused Railroad Crossing Drive Along Tour

    August 26, 2019

Okay guys so I’m on Kings Highway and
I’m going to give you a tour of the end of the CSX S line. This, here we’re coming up on the crossing. This is going to be Northwest 10th Ave and these are the tracks right here. This is an old SAL, old Seaboard
line it is now CSX but CSX hasn’t ran a train
through here for years and nor do they have any plans to send another one, so
right now I’m headed southbound on 10th Avenue you can see in some parts
it’s there’s litter all over it that dead chickens, branches we’re coming up on a milepost here
that’s a milepost 66 it says, I think it says end Homestead block I couldn’t tell with all the graffiti behind it. Relay case This is another crossing I believe this is Campbell Dr so in there the track curves and then
there’s the old abandoned SAL station. It goes between those shrubs
there. You’re going to be able to see it you got to see there’s a spur coming up
there to the left is abandoned Train station built in the 1920s and
that’s where all the tourists used to disembark and then here is abandoned
spur, let me show you the train station and there’s the spur I actually have a video on this crossing
that I did a walkthrough this is where the spur this ends and then right
there there’s a wye you can see the switch in the distance
I’m going to make a left here as soon as this guy passes. You can see the
switch next to the crossing there and floor it okay I’m going to include a link for the video
that’s at the end of the track so you can see what it looks like the last
crossing it’s actually the last crossing in the United States and the end of the
CSX s line so please subscribe or like thank you for viewing guys over and out

    Abandoned Railroad Tour Miami Florida

    August 26, 2019

good morning ladies and gentlemen I’m
over here at North West 75th Street Commerce Park in Miami Florida
and I’m gonna show you guys on a former FEC industrial spur give me one second
let these cars pass so this year is facing a southeast and that’s where it
came through that opening there you can see, this were visible
remnants are he’s kind of in the way right so it went
into there. See, let me show you here yeah that’s private property so I’m not going in there
right now I’m gonna show you where it lead to. you join me in a car ride buckle up for safety okay so yeah we said that’s facing
southeast and that’s facing north west right. Aw man, all these freeking cars They don’t let anyone film in peace anymore
what’s this world coming to okay so then there you have the track just
goes into there and then so right now I’m headed south on Northwest
75th Avenue right it came through there under, well
this overpass was built recently but it that little grass grassy bridge
right there, that used to be a railroad the spur that went over there were first
showed you and then this here is North West 25th Street this is one of the main
arteries in Miami. Actually in Doral, so I’m waiting for
this light to turn green Ok green light now we’re gonna be heading east on
North West 25th Street so there is that bridge I showed you and then it came
into here you can see some of the ballast so then it curved over there
behind those pine trees then curved eastward and it headed towards the main,
UPS right there we’re coming up on North West 72nd Avenue you can see the sign North West 72nd Avenue probably too much backlight okay now we’re
gonna be making a right on North West 72nd Avenue okay
right on northwest of 72nd Avenue and then this is what that curve that I
showed you so it came in through here I actually yeah I made a video here, a month
or two ago so you can see the ballast and then here I’m gonna show you the
tracks on that side so this is Northwest 22nd Street and I’m
gonna make a u-turn and this is still, there’s still part of
the track here well I think this part might be unused but nonetheless you can still see the rails see, right over there all right you guys please subscribe or
like thank you very much for viewing over and out

Abandoned Railroad in City turning into Forest

    August 26, 2019

you hello ladies & gentlemen, RailROL82 here. Your RR archaeologist so it’s got time again I like to come back to
this location once a year in follow-up videos we’re gonna see this isn’t an
original abandoned seaport airlines burn we’re gonna see how its feared in the
last year and so right now this is Northwest both
I’ve anymore above Northwest 12th Avenue is the Metrorail
that start above bub sorry elevated on rail service here ma’am commuter service
and then this is where the spirit one is its I went into a produce market over
there and as we can see here there are no coffees across bug some signals
everything has been removed and yeah I’m gonna include the video that I took here
last year the line was obviously a lot more visible and it is now a lot of our
growth I’ve located in this line and they shut it off back there I think with
the fence but uh let’s see what we got okay yeah it is getting really covered up
previously I was able I think you were able to see the rails and I think one of
the rails was like an original 19 20 20 something real I’ll refer to my video
but yeah Mother Nature is definitely reclaiming this this is the sad part about being a
railroad archaeologist the umbrella for thank you join me as well they they date what are you date okay I
think I got something over here actually don’t fall smart here you go the railroad archaeologist
1924 one nine two four says uh oh hi oh right there
maybe it’s oh hi old steel so they guys let me look for the date on
the nails sorry another girl spikes that one is a
bit much Sharon biggest star going to here by the way this isn’t the best
neighborhood in Miami sorry but land and there they were completely removed
completely so yeah I’m gonna take a while Jesse and
assume that when I come back next year see here you can barely already tells a
rail so next year I’m probably gonna have to bring like a bulldozer don’t
film this I do my update video on this julia side side guys
I mean if I was the city I tell I offered to come a penis of myself just
to preserve this nice stretch of original rail over here so the original seaboard tides – they
were never replaced with all concrete would entice say a couple of prayers in the name of
this fine served us spork over here oh he just kind of
lizard damn what a savage get here buddy this began as a an abandoned railroad
video and it turned into an Discovery Channel National Geographic video okay
see if I can make my way over here and show you guys we’re winning oh it was actually teased yes we got the material coming up above
us over there so I’m going to wait till I have a perfect yes you can see right here there’s one
rail right over there and then we got these settings so there was two rails
tooling in here at one point this is facing East right now
that card is heading north facing south and that way is west
already took one of these videos I think you’ll enjoy them please subscribe if
you have it’s a notification ball so you can get our alerts as to when I draw our
