I'm glad that you keep making this videos cuss this rear rail module is such a big part of why we get so many problems. My first build all I did was drill the holes, take down the tabs, put the parts together and boom 30 minutes I was done! But then I'll have weeks and weeks of malfunctioning. Now I take my time, I do one part at a time, I check, double check and triple check before even putting it together. So now the issues I get are no longer my mistakes but manufacturers mistakes and thanks to you I know how to fix them properly ?

I built two. Both had bad rear rail issues. And one had locking block issues. Poor quality from the manufacturer. I followed your videos to build them. Great videos. P80 needs to rethink their poor rear rail QC.
But is a great product otherwise.

So much helpful information, after watching all of your videos I’m ready to “pull the trigger” on my first P80. Pretty sure I can do it blindfolded because of your videos! ? Keep up the great content. I really appreciate your time, dedication, and quality of work put into these videos!

When I point my P80 towards the sky, keeping the trigger pulled, and run the slide back slowly it stops about 1/2 inch before full battery.

Hey guys I'm new to the polymer 80,I have a concern as to why my slide locks and I'm not riding on the slide stop? With my thumb. Ive even switched my position with my hands and even made sure I wasn't riding the stop, and I'm having this reoccurring issue. I've watched a lot of your videos and I've learned a lot, which helps me with other pistol builds. I honestly need some advice if there's anything I'm doing wrong, please from one gun guy to another. I need some advice lol ?.

very well explained , great work! thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge is going to be very helpful when i do my g19 build! question: any experience with 80pbuilder products ? thinking of buying a g19 triad full build kit.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I've a feeling there can be a connection between reshaping the arch, and the alignment of the pin holes with the frame. Perhaps, if any smoothing of the arch is done, it'd be wise to do it before checking that pin fit?

A friend of mine who is a gunsmith shared something with me that is done after everything you showed here is completed but before polishing the rails. It’s a technique used for mating two metal surfaces for a perfect match with each other. It can be helpful when dealing with paint in the channel of the slide where the rails ride when having a hard time getting a smooth action due to the thickness of the rail & tight slide channel.

Speaking for my own OCD, I do not find you detailed enough……J/K. Your info is 1st class, clear and very easy to follow. Once snowed in here in New England, I have basement project waiting for me to start. Keep the detailed info coming.

I wish I would have seen this on my first build , had a lot of trouble and it was all because of the rear rail , excellent video

I owned my first glock about 27 years ago and for the love of God i could never understand why they didn't make a ''B'' frame ie. with a 1911 angle backstrap like the polymer 80. Through the years gunsmiths and people where modifying their frames and Glock was and still is in the dark!!!! A lot of people i met were not that happy with the grip angle. When i placed a 1911 in their hands you should have seen the look on their faces, Priceless. I think glock lost a lot of sales and their customer PR ( public relations) sucked. Give the customer what he wants. Great job buddy your vids are great. What would you say or do you know the lifespan of these frames?? Basically i've heard about glock frames lasting thousands and thousands of rounds, What is the most you heard of the polymer 80 has done?

I guess I was lucky with my build, but I had zero issues with the rails. Good video though.
