ISP cracking down on drivers who ignore stop-signs near railroad tracks

US-31 WLKY SHAQUILLE LORD HAS
MORE ON THIS THOSE LIVING
ALONGSIDE RAILROAD STREET SAY
DRIVERS. USUALLY DON’T STOP AT
THE STOP SIGN AND GO STRAIGHT
PAST THE RAILROAD TRACKS, INDIANA STATE POLICE SAY THEY
ARE STARTING TO CRACK DOWN ON
THOSE WHO ARE BREAKING THE LAW
IN FIVE MINUTES TIME. I WATCH 10
VEHICLES CROSS AT 10 VEHICLES
AND ONLY 10 VEHICLES CROSSED THAT INTERSECTION. NONE OF THOSE
TEN COMPLETELY STOPPED AT THE
STOP SIGN. IT CAME AS A SURPRISE
TO SERGEANT KERRY HOLES WITH
INDIANA STATE POLICE WHEN HE SAW
IT AND MANY PEOPLE DECIDE. I DIDN’T EVEN REALIZE THERE WAS A
STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION. SO PEOPLE AREN’T PAYING
ATTENTION DRIVERS NOT STOPPING
AT THE STOP SIGN NEAR THE
RAILROAD TRACKS ON US-31 AND
SCOTTSBURG SO FAR, INDIANA STATE
POLICE HAVE HANDED OUT A NUMBER OF TICKETS, BUT PEOPLE WHO LIVE
IN THE AREA SAY THE PROBLEM
ISN’T NEW. WE JUST SAW TWO CARS
JUST NOW PASS IT WITHOUT
STOPPING. STUPID BUT THEY DO IS
BE STAYING TROOPERS WILL BE MONITORING THESE AREAS IN THE
FUTURE TO PREVENT FUTURE
TRAGEDIES LIKE WHAT HAPPENED IN
HENRYVILLE MONDAY A MESSAGE
THOSE LIVING HERE BELIEVE IS
DEARLY NEEDED. I THINK IT’S A GOOD IDEA. IT’S A SHAME HAS TO
