Nice video. Where did it come from and head to?

  • Reply Glen Reynol007 January 12, 2018 at 5:46 pm

I've never seen four bells at a crossing until now. Is this rare to see in your area?
    Nice work as usual.

Nice catch man! You are right, Beethoven’s Symphony! Gotta love mechanical bells. And the main purpose for my comment: couldn’t agree more, P3’s are absolutely the ugliest horn to me. I’d trade it for anything else—yes, even a K5LLA/K5HL or even an M3 😝 they’re pretty undesirable. Have a great day my friend!

Looks like a MOW train with ballast. Hey i did it! Bought a used commercial grade drone for my business, its a slightly older DJI Inspire 1 V2, it was used but in excellent condition. As soon as it warms up over freezing, which is usually mid april…..then I'll play with it. Again count yourself lucky to live where you are no matter what people say. Yeah i bet the neighborhood loves those bells!

I disagree with you. I wish I could film a train that had a P3, mostly because I'm always seeing K5HL's and K5LA's. I personally don't think there's any ugly horns except for the one the GG1's had. Also, nice catch with the 645 engines in notch eight.

If you like mechanical bells so much, come to Jacksonville. We have dozens of railroad crossings on the FEC that have four mechanical bells. There's actually quite a few that have SIX of them such as Greenland Road, and Old St Augustine Road. Old St Augustine Road has lost two mechanical bells sadly, but at least it has some new Safetrans with the pitch raised.

My favorite mechanical bells are WRRS, old WCH, Modern Industries, Raco, safetran, wabco, US&S teardrop & mechanical, Federal Signal, and I'm not sure if you know this mechanical bell but it's called Griswold

  • Reply Mr Mistr Productions January 12, 2018 at 8:48 pm

Nothing can beat the sound of WC Hayes Mech Bells quartet! And I agree that P3 horn sounds awfully. I was really surprised by the tank cars in the middle of consist, it's very illogical!

Im so tired of that spot already, I need uber😂 nice catch on FEC 292.

  • Reply astrogater January 12, 2018 at 10:03 pm

A semi truck horn sounds better. 4 corners for Beethoven. Beethoven never had it so good. Awesome video! 🙂
