Broken Crossing Gate at CSX Railroad Crossing

Hello ladies and gentlemen, A CSX train just finished going through here and I saw that a car hit the crossing gate and that is the outcome. I’m over here at NW 17th ST and NW 127th AVE at the CSX crossing and yeah That guy was trying to beat the crossing that was what happened. Here is the Safetran systems signal base Safetran gate mechanism Safetran lights and the cracked gate let me give you, this is track view North. Track view South. And this is what that looks like from afar. Let me give you a Here you can see the relay case. Look on the other side. Yeah, the CSX train comes it’s actually a rock train that goes over there and takes rocks from North to South over there, this is track view South. And then Here we have a Safetran signal base.     how often does that track see service. Tracks look worn and in cared for. People need to be more patient, trains really shouldn't be something to mess with, imagine how the engineer feels if they hit someone. Thank you for the video and I look forward to the next one-Bob s.

    Back a while ago, when I was like 4, we came across a crossing, and half the gate was broken, just sitting in the road

    I was in Old town SD California and Taylor Street Crossing activated and some guy in a tall yellow truck tried to beat the crossing and then the gate got torn off by his truck as an outcome! Also I subbed u on both my channels. Will u Sub me? I have a few Railfanning videos!

    This is why they need fast descending gates, so that if a car tries to beat the train that it won't have a windshield.
