Barcelona to Valencia by Train – First Class on an RENFE Talgo 250 [4K]

October 10, 2019

Londonto Valencia On a Talgo 250 In Preferente Class With RENFE Arriving at Barcelona Saints station. There are lots of shops and cafes just inside. The useful map up close. The main concourse and ticket area. Security is tight. Apparently promo tickets don’t have lounge access. Platform 12! Check out the massive fans! Here is our ride. I think it said Euromed on the booking but a more modern Talgo has turned up. First Class. The speed display reminds me of Concord. This worked 🙂 Power (didn’t see this in standard class). Off we go! Drinks and snacks were served. There are amazing coastal views most of the way. The nice dining car. Perfectly fine and clean toilets. A light dinner of sandwiches was served. You even got a hot towel! There were amazing god rays as the sun set. Not sure what was going on in the Spanish film, but it passed the time until arrival. Thanks for joining us again 🙂

At 1:50 : You must know that since 2011 all Euromed services are served by Class 130 / Talgo 250 trains, which are the most modern Talgo trains in operation. Oh, and this video is awesome 😉

The Euromed is not a train, it is a comercial product. Previously operated by S101 trains (the first AVE train, but with iberian gauge bogies). Now the service is operated by S130 trains (Alvia).
